Stroke Survivors Find Comfort in Art
The Bcenter, a Winter Park non-profit for stroke survivors and caregivers, and the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens hosted an art therapy session.

Grant for Guide Dogs

6. Carlos Liranzo, Kristine Tanyer, Dr. James Podschun, Pam Gibbs and Pipkin the guide dog with a $1,000 check from ABB OPTICAL GROUP for Southeastern Guide Dogs, a local charity that pairs guide dogs with visually impaired individuals.

Sing Your Heart Out
Florida District of the Metropolitan Opera National Council recently hosted auditions for opera singers between the ages for 20 and 30 in 43 districts nationwide.

9. Anthony Ciaramitaro, Sarah Payne and Christine Suits won the auditions and competed at the regional competition in Atlanta.

UTI Hosts Monster Jam Open House 
High School students were able to tour Universal Technical Institute – Orlando’s automotive and brand-new training facilities as well as participate in a S.T.E.M. presentation.

Habitat For Humanity Builder’s Blitz
Eight families received keys to their new homes in the Butler’s Preserve community, which were built by Habitat for Humanity in just five days.
